Regarding the Brandon Woodard shooting near Columbus Circle...

The thing that baffles me about this case is how a 31-year-old guy has a record with over twenty arrests on it. The pool of people in the world who are likely to be shot by a contract killer in midtown Manhattan in broad daylight is fairly small. So is the pool of affluent law school students who’ve caught twenty-plus cases on their arrest record.

How many times have you been arrested? Why have the police been such a constant presence in this guy’s life? Is it any surprise he’s worked as a club promoter?
